Commencement Morning

Graduate Commencement will be held Saturday, May 9, 2009, at 10 a.m. in the Plymouth State University John C. Foley Gymnasium. The ceremony will honor master's degree and Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies recipients.

A complimentary, light buffet of fruit and pastries will be served in the Foley Gymnasium from 8:45–9:30 a.m. for participants and guests. Tickets are not required for graduates or guests.

Promptly at 9:15 a.m., participants will gather in the Field House to receive their hoods and to form the processional line. Candidates will march and be seated by degree programs.

The ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. with various speeches and the conferral of degrees and certificates. During the ceremony, PSU staff members will prompt recipients to proceed across the platform to receive their diploma folders or certificate tubes. Actual diplomas and certificates will be mailed at a later date.
