Foster's Boiler Room Restaurant, located at the Common Man Inn, Plymouth, is hosting a New Year Celebration evening of wine and food pairings.  Martignetti Wines expert, Andrea Marquis, will feature six new, different, and familiar wines for your tasting and enjoyment.  Guests will learn about the wines' grapes, their region of origin, taste overtones and undertones, and suggestions for pairing the wine with food.  Foster's chef, Eric Hagen, will prepare and serve six delectable food pairings specifically desgined to enhance the fusion of wine and food flavors.  An added bonus:  Wednesdays at Foster's is "Wine-Down Wednesdays" when guests can purchase a bottle of their favorite wine for half price.  So come and enjoy!

Soup...often the only answer for a bitter cold January day.  It nourishes your body and soul with its warmth, aroma, and flavor.  In this "Emeril-style" presentation, Keith will demonstrate how to start and make your own aromatic and soulful soups.  Using different bases, he will share the steps and recipes for building delicious and healthful soup meals.  As usual, Keith's personality greatly enhances the presentation.  Audience members will go home not only with ideas, but a flavorful taste in their mouths from sampling Keith's soup creations.
