More than 400 alumni and friends gathered on February 3, 2015, to celebrate former New Hampshire Governor John Lynch as the twenty-second recipient of the PSU Alumni Association’s Robert Frost Contemporary American Award. The event, held at the Radisson Hotel in Manchester, NH, featured special guests including the Plymouth State Chamber Singers, led by Professor Dan Perkins,and Red Sox President and CEO Larry Lucchino. Jamie Staton, sports director for WMUR-TV, led a spirited question and answer session with Lucchino. Nearly $150,000 was raised through sponsorships and ticket sales. At Governor Lynch’s request, proceeds from the event will benefit New Hampshire students through the Alumni Association Endowed Scholarship Fund. – Director of Alumni Relations Rodney Ekstrom ’09G
