We’ve been making some changes at Plymouth Magazine. The first one you may have noticed is that this Fall 2005 issue is not the Annual Report, and you received it a few weeks earlier than the former Annual Report issue would have been expected. Plymouth Magazine will now be publishing three regular magazine issues each year: Fall, Winter and Spring. The Annual Report is being redesigned as a separate publication that we expect to send near the end of the calendar year. These changes should result in more PSU stories coming your way in our three issues, as well as expanded annual report information covering various aspects of the previous academic year.
Another change you’ll see in our pages from time to time is more flexibility in the way we use our pages. In this issue, for instance, we have omitted our Arts and Ut Prosim departments in order to make room to tell you about several new iniatives on campus.
Finally, for alumni wanting to get in touch with their class agents, we usually run our complete list of class agents with their contact information in the Fall issue. This time, the Alumni Office is making some changes of their own in the class agent structure. The new list should be available in the Winter issue, due out at the beginning of February. In the meantime, alumni can still send their news directly to their class agents or to the Alumni Office at alumni@plymouth.edu or via the new alumni portal available at http://my.plymouth.edu.
We hope these changes will better serve our readers by providing more news on more topics about Plymouth State University.
