PANTHER PRIDE: Student-athletes, athletic trainers, and the entire PSU athletic family celebrated the year, and the community that is Panther Athletics, at the Panther Awards ceremony in May.
The annual Panther Awards ceremony, hosted by PSU’s Athletic Department, was held on May 4, 2015, at Foley Gymnasium. More than 500 student-athletes, as well as athletic trainers, coaches, and former president Sara Jayne Steen came together to celebrate the year, and the community that is Panther Athletics.
Each of the PSU varsity athletic teams, as well as the PSU Athletic Training Program, presented a Panther Award to the student who best represents the University on the field, in the classroom, and in the community. Twenty-one outstanding students were honored this year with Panther Awards, one of the highest awards a student-athlete can receive at PSU.
