Employment:
Since 1998, Althea Goundrey has been the child development program coordinator for the Dartmouth College Center for Genetics and Child Development. Prior to that, she spent six years as a facilitating teacher at the PSU Child Development & Family Center. Previously, she served as director of a child care center in Woodsville, N.H., head teacher at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center Child Care Center (Lebanon, N.H.) and compensatory early educator for Orange East Supervisory Union (Bradford, Vt.).

PSUAA Board of Directors, Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth special events, Vermont Adaptive Ski & Sports Association, Early Childhood Mental Health Network of the Upper Valley
Why did you decide to become a member of the PSUAA Board of Directors?
“To give back to Plymouth, where I feel at home. There is a cause out there for each of us, and I have chosen to volunteer my time and energy in building the relations between the alumni and current students, faculty and staff.”
What do you hope to accomplish during your time on the PSUAA Board of Directors?
“Personally, I hope to accomplish bringing students, faculty and alumni together in formal and informal situations.”
