Vincent Lapointe-Deptula ‘21, former Coast Guard rescue swimmer, is always seeking his next challenge. This year he set his sights on the Outdoor Nation Challenge, a “Mother-Nature-meets-March-Madness” competition with 100 schools from across the country that go head-to-head for four weeks to see who can get the most people outside and active. Lapointe-Deptula placed fifth for individuals, out of 18,953 total competitors, in Division One with 138 entries for a total score of 3,785 points. He helped Plymouth State place second in the Northeast.
