Annette Mitchell draws polystyrene print-making plates from the close observation of plant forms and then creates unique block prints from these images. Her unique art quilts also respond passionately to the sensuality of colorful fabrics. Sue Tucker’s recent sculptural work is related to cyclical and segmented growth patterns—recording natural forms in the stony material of high fired ceramic.
