MWM is excited to host Kim Bernard to PSU for an artist residency from March 31-April 4, 2025. As an artist, Kim creates installations that are public, recycled, interactive, kinetic and raise environmental awareness. You can find out more about Kim and her work here.
As PSU exists at the confluence of two rivers and is situated well within the Lakes Region of the state, Kim is naturally drawn to aquatic themes surrounding rivers, lakes, and streams. Through this residency and public art installation, she hopes to explore the concept of water existing as a habitat and the many issues involving plastic pollution that impact its quality of life and surrounding environment.
