Please join PSU music faculty Hannah Murray, Jared Staub, and Harmony Markey in a fall faculty recital as varied as the fall foliage. The program features an eclectic mix of music, beginning with three classic Gershwin tunes performed by voice faculty Hannah Murray, accompanied by Justin McCarthy. Next is an early original composition for bass trombone by Eduard Lassen paired with the American tonal modernism of Halsey Stevens’ “Sonatina for Bass Trombone and Piano” performed by Director of Bands Jared Staub accompanied by Adam Mayon. Closing the recital is Harmony Markey, Director of Choral Activities, performing two arias by Mozart, accompanied by Zi Lang, alongside one of her own original compositions. Join us for an eclectic mix of music old and new, from the Old World to the New World!
