Buy a raffle ticket and win a Tree!

As part of Plymouth’s 2021 Hometown Holiday Celebration, Plymouth State University’s Staff Senate is once again holding a Festival of Trees fundraiser. This is the 13th anniversary of this amazing event, and it is our largest fundraising event each year. Proceeds will be used to support student scholarships including the Mary Campbell and Deb Underwood Scholarships, which are annually awarded to one or more students attending Plymouth State University.

This is a wonderful opportunity for your office, team, club, business, or group of friends to exercise your creativity and support the Plymouth State Staff Senate raising money for our scholarship fund, which has proudly awarded a total of nearly $35,000 in student scholarships!

REGISTER YOUR TREE TODAY! Registration is due by Friday, November 19, 2021, at this line: https://forms.office.com/r/Gqi44zidkz

How does it work? The Festival of Trees will be held at the Silver Center Friday, December 3, and Saturday, December 4, between 10:30 am and 8:00 pm, in conjunction with the annual Plymouth Hometown Holiday Celebration and Parade. Departments, businesses, groups, organizations, families, etc., are invited to donate a fully decorated, artificial tree to be raffled off. On the days of the festival, visitors purchase tree raffle tickets (20 tickets for $5) and deposit tickets in the containers next to the tree(s) they would like to win. If you’re interested in participating by donating a tree to be raffled off, please complete an entry to register your tree by no later than Friday, November 19.

When can I set up my tree? Trees can be set up at the Silver Center on Thursday, December 2, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

You are welcome to display the name of the company/organization you are donating on behalf of and leave business cards near the tree. Please do not put original gift certificates on your tree; replicas are preferred for security purposes. The Staff Senate Fundraising & Scholarship Committee will be happy to collect the original gift certificates from you and keep them secure for the winners.

Do winners need to be present to win? No, winners do not need to be present to win. The drawings will be done the evening of Saturday, December 4, and winners will be notified that night between 8:00 pm and 10:00 pm. Each tree must be picked up on Sunday, December 5, in the afternoon between 4pm-6pm. Unclaimed trees will be donated to the community.

How can I help if I can’t donate a tree? Cash and Door Prize donations are also welcomed and appreciated!

Come and visit us during the festival and purchase tree raffle tickets.
