Senior Recital: Ian Kim, Piano

Join Ian Kim on his senior recital for presenting the culmination of his piano and music technology studies at Plymouth State University. He will be featuring various piano works by several different composers including Franz Schubert, Robert Schumann, Yoko Shimomura, and John Cage. He will also be featuring his original works involving the combination of digital audio, visual media, and live piano performances.

Ian Kim is a senior music major with an option in music technology. Ian has been studying piano since he was nine years old and began composing around high school. He worked on a commission for an orchestral arrangement for one of Plymouth State University’s professors to be used in his White Mountain history lectures. Ian also actively maintains his SoundCloud account where he posts his works.
