44th Annual All New England Choral Festival
November 3, 2022 @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Over 150 high school students from 28 schools throughout New England spend the day in workshops and rehearsals centered around the theme “The Waking and the Rising.” Through music preparation and workshops, students and choral directors will have the opportunity to explore and experience glorious music making, social-emotional and wellness strategies for the students/educators/classroom/rehearsals, conversations about empowerment and social justice, a sound healing experience, among other experiences on campus. The day culminates in a concert that features the Plymouth State University Chorale, Chamber Singers, Mixed Emotions and Vocal Order (student a cappella groups), the featured guests the Select Treble Ensemble from Goffstown High School under the direction of Christopher Belding and Joshua Desrochers, as well as the combined choirs of over 200 singers.
