All New England Choral Festival

The 46th Annual All New England Choral Festival will host 190 high school singers who will be coming on to the Plymouth State University campus to participate in the full day choral music festival under the direction of Harmony Markey, PSU’s director of Chorale Studies. The day’s experiences will culminate in a combined concert with the high school ANECF honor choir, PSU vocal ensembles, and The Hollis Brookline Chamber Singers, this year’s featured high school ensemble. The theme is “Soundscapes” and will see students rehearsing and performing experimental music that fuses traditional choral settings with the digital realm, overtone singing, and improvisational experiences. It promises to be a really unique festival and performance.
