“A Triumphant Return”

Join New Hampshire’s Lakes Region Symphony Orchestra and conductor Ben Greene at our exciting collaboration with the Silver Center and Hanaway Theatre.

At this inaugural concert of LRSO’s 2021-2022 season, PSU piano faculty member Dr. Adam Mayon joins the orchestra performing Beethoven Piano Concerto No. 3.

The concert also features violinist Sava Thurber, winner of the 2021 LRSO Student Concerto Competition, performing Carmen Fantasy by Pablo de Sarasate. View snippets of Sava’s winning audition at www.LRSO.org.

Last but certainly not least LRSO performs Dvorak’s monumental Symphony No. 9 “From the New World”.

The Lakes Region Symphony Orchestra is the only community orchestra covering central and northern New Hampshire. Since 1975 musicians, students, and teachers from approximately thirty communities in NH and southern Maine have joined together to recreate music of a wide spectrum, from the music of Beethoven, Brahms, and Rachmaninoff to the modern classics of the Beatles, John Williams, and Michael Jackson.
