Entreés- July 13th
A program of American, Italian, and Russian music starting with an exciting opener, followed by beautiful Baroque melodies, surprising new sounds, and a powerful Romantic masterpiece.
Connections- July 20th
Viennese Classics and American Music. With the surprising opening chords, Beethoven made his mark as a new, young, upcoming symphony composer. This symphony symbolizes new beginnings for the New Hampshire Music Festival, followed by music connecting us to dear friends and places.
Traditions- July 27th
After the exuberant to Die Fledermaus, you will hear one of Berlioz’s most popular works, his orchestral song cycle Summer Nights. Concluding our summer season brings the surprising rediscovery of an early American symphony by Florence Price, the first black woman to be recognized as a symphonic composer.
