Welcome to Taylor’s Version! “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” just released, and to celebrate the long-awaited album, Plymouth Activities Council for Students threw an album release party on Oct. 26. PACS is responsible for providing events for students at little to no cost, such as Welcome Week, Winter Carnival, and Spring Fling.

Swifties got to shake off all worries and indulge in a night of Taylor Swift and friendship bracelet making. One Swiftie, Maddie Pearce, even got to make matching “Never Grow Up” friendship bracelets for her and her brother.

The party also included food, feather boas, and heart-shaped sunglasses, as well as a shiny, blue backdrop for cute photo-ops. Eras tour outfits were encouraged, and of course, Swifties came dressed in style. Many came in sparkly outfits, and one fan even drew a “Lover” heart over their eye.

Swifties were able to find wonderland at the party. Proud Swiftie, Emily Davis, even exclaimed about how much fun she was having. “I love it! I got a boa which I’m really excited about. I love that I’m getting multiple bracelets.”

While it was slightly disappointing there was no dancing, all in all, the party was good fun and a great way to whittle away the long hours in the wait for “1989 (Taylor’s Version).”
