This year’s Oscars was on Mar 10, and as usual, the event was the talk of the town. . Hosted by Jimmy Kimmel for the fourth time, there was a wide variety of winners, with only three films winning more than one Oscar. There were many musical performances that stood out alongside the awards, including a performance of “I’m Just Ken” by Ryan Gosling and some of the other Kens from the film “Barbie”. When put all together, the events and awards of the Oscars made for an interesting night.

Only a few films at this year’s Oscars were nominated for more than 5 awards. “Oppenheimer,” Poor Things,” and “Killers of the Flower Moon” were all nominated for 10 or more awards, while “Barbie” and “Maestro” also received more than 5 nominations. The only films that won more than two awards were “The Zone of Interest,” “Poor Things,” and “Oppenheimer.”

“Oppenheimer” was nominated for 13 awards and won 7, leading in both nominations and wins, as well as taking home the Best Picture award. Another award for “Oppenheimer” was given to Robert Downey Jr. for Best Supporting Actor, his first Oscar of his career. There were 13 films that brought home at least one of the 23 awards, meaning many films won on this exciting night.

Whether it be the awards, the musical performances, or John Cena announcing the winner of Best Costume Design while completely naked, there was no shortage of events during The Oscars. People will argue about which films deserved which award, or if the voters continue to pick similar films to win the awards, but they can all agree that Mar 10 was an exciting night for The Oscars, and for film fans across the world.
