Patty Shack: A “Good Burger”

The new hamburger restaurant located in downtown Plymouth has had PSU students wicked excited! It’s called The Patty Shack, where they’re known for their burgers and loaded garlic fries. This was something that caught my eye immediately, since I love a good burger, especially with our limited food options around campus.
As soon as I walked inside, I was immediately greeted and began browsing through the menu. I ended up getting a standard burger and some garlic fries. My only complaint was the wait after we had ordered. We waited around for 30-ish minutes, but I did go with a decent sized group, which wasn’t unreasonable due to the amount of people that ordered food.
My favorite part about this whole experience was looking at all of the stickers on their walls. They were very entertaining and helped the wait time go by faster. They had one sticker on their fridge that said “I <3 VAG” and I thought that was hilarious. My friends and I had a good laugh looking at all of these different stickers while waiting for our food.
Finally, the food arrived. There’s no seating area, so we decided to take it back to a friend’s place and we ate it together. The burger and garlic fries I ordered were both very good. The burger was juicy and was complimented very well by their “special sauce” used on their burgers. The price was also very fair compared to the quality of the food. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is in the mood for a good burger!
