Release: PFD spotlights student-firefighters

Sarah Adamske
Sarah is from Windham, NH, and is a first-year student at PSU pursuing a BSN in Nursing. She is a Nationally Registered EMT and is in her first year with Plymouth Fire-Rescue.

Aurora Camillieri
Aurora is from Westford MA and is a first-year student at PSU studying Honors and Forensic Science. She is nearing completion of her Nationally Registered EMT class and is going on her second year at Plymouth Fire-Rescue.

Adrian Espinal
Adrian is from southern NH and is completing his first year at Lakes Region Community College, majoring in Fire Science. He is our third Live-In Student in three years! He is currently a certified Firefighter 1 and 2 and is completing his EMT class.

Garrett Gruendling
Garrett is from Vermont and is currently in his fourth year at PSU earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. He holds a Firefighter 1 Certificate, is a Nationally Registered EMT, and has earned a Swiftwater Rescue certification. Garrett is a four-year member of Plymouth Fire-Rescue and will sadly be parting ways with us at the end of the school year.

D’Andre Mitchell
D’Andre is from Allenstown, NH. He is a Junior at PSU studying Exercise Science program with a Focus in PT and minor in War History. He holds a Firefighter 1 FF I certification. D’Andre has been with us for two years.

This collaboration between Plymouth Fire-Rescue and Plymouth State University as well as Lakes Region Community College has spanned many decades. We appreciate these relationships and all the students who have and continue to provide service to our communities. Many of our former members have moved on to work in Fire Departments such as ours, Manchester, Bedford, and Derry, NH, S. Portland, ME, Boston, FDNY, and Charlotte, NC! We know that all their futures are full of promise, and we are honored to have played a small part in their beginnings!
