Technical Info:

WPCR currently operates with a total transmitter output of 150 watts powered by a Nautel VX 150 transmitter with an effective radian range of 215 watts. Our studios are located at N 43° 45'  25", W 71° 41' 23" with our transmitter located atop Boyd Science Center on the campus of Plymouth State University. WPCR-FM broadcasts 24/7 on 91.7 megahertz. Both studios receive power from dual online double conversion UPS units with 3,000 VA battery backups for power outages and a backup audio feed is available should the main feed need to be bypassed. Transmitter site operation is automated with automatic VSWR fold-back , phone home capabilities & auto power restore.
