The Plymouth Opportunity Scholarship Angel Fund was created in 2017 by John and Susan Scheinman P'19, P’21G to provide scholarships for undergraduates who have documented funding needs so they may complete their PSU education. Angel investors believe that no student should be turned away from attending Plymouth State due to lack of funds.
In the last seven years, the Plymouth State community has collectively raised nearly half a million dollars for this purpose!
“The Plymouth Opportunity Scholarship Angel Fund provides the university with the flexibility and extra resources to help students remain enrolled during times of financial emergency or extreme hardship. We use these funds to help students struggling to pay the last portion of their tuition bills after all other possibilities are exhausted. This Angel Fund has made a substantial difference in the lives of our students with the most need, allowing many to reach graduation.
