Thousands of Donations Brighten Holidays for Area Youth

Plymouth State University helped collect and deliver hundreds of gifts this holiday season for over 330 children and youths in the greater Plymouth community as part of the Angel Tree Project. This is the 30th anniversary of PSU’s involvement in the program.

An area of the Hartman Union Building (HUB) was filled to the brim with presents over the past few weeks as donations came in. Community Impact Grad Coordinator Diana Daigle ’25G spearheaded the project, helping to ready the gifts for delivery along and other Student Life staff and numerous volunteers.

Angel Tree Carload 2024

Over the past three decades, PSU has helped collect presents for approximately 11,750 youths. Gifts are valued at $75 per youth, which would equate to approximately $881,325 worth of gifts delivered.
