Ashley Phillips, a Texas native, is passionate about sharing the human experience through stories. Her passion led her to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Film from Emerson College and a Master of Education in Organizational Health from Plymouth State University. While Ashley’s full-time job is in the criminal justice system, a career she believes is critical to the shaping and understanding of the human experience, she maintains a focus on critical and creative thinking by teaching the general education courses The Digital Imagination and Web Expressions. The Digital Imagination introduces students to the fundamentals of the creative process via photo editing and animation while also challenging students to think critically about the world around them through an exploration of contemporary media. Web Expressions exposes students to basic web design while also challenging them to explore and critique contemporary web design and digital media.
