Biography

Associate Professor Charles ‘Brad’ Allen has extensive experience working in the high tech industry working at industry leading companies such as MCI Telecommunications and Computer Associates. He has published widely in the field of renewable energy marketing and corporate responsibility strategies. Dr. Allen was the Director of Global Sustainability Services at Technology Business Research, where he created a number of bench-marking methodologies that help evaluate the financial impacts of sustainability initiatives; in this role he worked with many of the world’s largest information technology including Dell, IBM and EMC Corporation.  

Dr. Allen teaches undergraduate and graduate business programs, and his courses include information technology, global marketing and marketing research techniques in the MBA program. He is also very involved in the Harvard University Summer program, where he teaches graduate level courses. He is the co-faculty advisor for the PSU chapter of the American Marketing Association. Marketing at Plymouth State (MAPS) provides students with hands on opportunities to do marketing, research, and community service.
