Laura Rodgers is a licensed registered nurse with over 20 years’ experience. Her clinical background includes care of families during the perinatal experience, pediatrics in the acute care and school settings and various medical surgical experiences.

She is board certified in Nursing Professional Development through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Additionally, she maintains certification from the National Certification Council (NCC) in the area of In-Patient Obstetrics.

For 14 years, Laura facilitated staff development for nurses and other healthcare professionals in the hospital setting. Upon earning her MSN, she began her career in academia at a community college where she enjoyed working with a diverse group of nursing students for 8 years as full-time faculty. She is experienced with curriculum evaluation and revision.

Laura currently brings her experiences and enthusiasm to Plymouth State University’s nursing program where she will assist in the education and development of the person as they prepare to practice in the nursing profession.
