Kilfoyle teaches sales and entrepreneurship at Plymouth State and is the principal of The Kilfoyle Group, LLC, a firm specializing in optimizing organizational performance. Previously, he was a principal of Hickok & Boardman HR Intelligence, where he helped lead the firm to be recognized as the best place to work in Vermont.

Kilfoyle has over 25 years of business experience working in finance, technology, sales, marketing, and operations and for both for-profit and nonprofit organizations. He has been recognized as a national business leader and regularly trains and speaks to business groups on a variety of topics, including leadership skills, creating customer experiences, emotional intelligence, workforce trends, business ethics, and organizational culture. 

He spends most of his time away from work trying to prove that the phrase “cool dad” is not an oxymoron
