Minna Yoo

Minna Yoo is a counselor educator with experience as a counselor, supervisor, and researcher. She earned her Ph.D. degree from Idaho State University in the Counselor Education and Counseling program in 2024. She began her professional counselor journey in 2018 as she obtained her master's degree from Seoul National University in Educational Counseling. As a bilingual in English and Korean, she worked with international students and early adulthood population in college counseling centers and group work settings. Her broad scholarly interests include clinical supervision, group work, and cultural humility in counselor training and preparation. In her free time, she enjoys doing embroidery, traveling, or discovering new hobbies.
