Peter has a Master's Degree in Mathematics from the University of Bridgeport, and has been teaching math at PSU since 2013. Prior to this, he taught math part-time at several colleges during his career in mathematics textbook publishing. Peter produced math textbooks for both the K-12 and college levels. Then, from 1996 to 2012, he and his wife Sharon ran the company they started; it focused on contracting with the major mathematics textbook companies for writing and editing services. Prior to that, he taught high school math in Connecticut.

He lives in Bridgewater, NH, on Newfound Lake with his wife Sharon, who also teaches at PSU. They have three children and seven grandchildren.

His favorite courses to teach are Precalculus and College Algebra. His greatest satisfaction professionally derives from working with students who may have disliked mathematics, and helping them to become proficient while learning to enjoy mathematics.

In addition to teaching, Peter enjoys tennis, golf, bridge, the Red Sox, and the Patriots. He and Sharon love Newfound lake and spending time there with family, especially playing touch football with the grandchildren.
