About Professor Dupont (she/her):

Over the past 17 years Professor Dupont has worked in a variety of subdisciplines of social work. She has interned and has voluntarily taught within the corrections system and probation and parole system. She has worked within the community mental health system in areas ranging from children’s mental health to conducting evaluations as an emergency services clinician. She has worked in areas of funding where she wrote grants, conducted fundraising events, as well as worked with community-based teams to distribute raised funds to support local organizations. Over the past 7 years she has worked in several community hospitals working as a medical social worker. She has also spent the past few years building a private practice providing mental health, substance use disorder, and dual diagnosis services to adolescents and adults.  Professor Dupont lives in the lakes region with her husband and two children.
