About Suzanne L. Thistle, MA, MLADC

Suzanne L. Thistle, MA, MLADC, has over two decades of experience treating substance use disorders. Her employment included clinic manager, supervisor, and clinical and executive director of two agencies. Additionally, she received the “Lifetime Advocacy,” “Legislative Advocacy,” and the “Treatment Agency of the Year” awards from her colleagues in the addiction profession.

Currently, she’s an author, educator, and consultant passionate about helping people with substance use disorders. Her writing reaches people worldwide and offers actionable advice that leads to lasting change. When she’s not working, she spends time with family, hikes, and enjoys beautiful Newfound Lake.
