Timothy L’Ecuyer (he/him/his) has BAs in theatre and English from Keene State College as well as an MA in theatre education and applied theatre from Emerson College, where he is currently finishing an MFA in the same subject. His areas of interest in scholarship and teaching include dramaturgy, acting and directing, arts management, education policy/pedagogy, and queer studies. At PSU, he has taught Acting 1, Stage/Arts Management, Theatrical Experience, and Script Analysis. Over the course of 20 years, he has directed productions large and small in venues ranging from professional theatres to someone’s backyard.

Directing credits at PSU: Our Town, An Enemy of the People, and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. He is the director of education at the Winnipesaukee Playhouse, an Equity stage manager, and holds New Hampshire state teacher certifications in English and theatre. Previously, he was a lecturer at Keene Stage College, president of the New Hampshire Educational Theatre Guild, and taught English and theatre in New Hampshire high schools for ten years. He is proud to have worked with American Stage Festival, Barnstormers, theatre KAPOW, Peacock Players, StageCoach Productions, Greater Boston Stage Company, the Nora Theatre Company, and Underground Railway Theater. He is more of a dog person than a cat person.
